AuE Kassel Explores Industry and Automotive Market

As part of a market exploration trip organized by the IHK Baden-Württemberg and the Delegation of German Business for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Yemen (GESALO), AuE Kassel conducted an in-depth analysis of the Saudi market to identify opportunities in the industrial and automotive sectors. The goal was to better understand economic conditions, legal frameworks, and strategic opportunities for German companies in Saudi Arabia, as well as to establish valuable initial contacts on site.

The trip provided extensive insights into the country’s rapid industrial development. Visits to leading companies such as Alfanar, Hikma Pharmaceuticals, Sunbulah, and the electric vehicle brand Ceer highlighted the high investment speed, professionalism, and innovative spirit of Saudi companies. The automotive sector, in particular, benefits from strong government support and is undergoing rapid expansion, making international partnerships highly attractive.

"What impressed me most was the speed at which projects are implemented – combined with high professionalism and clear governmental support. The market is demanding but full of opportunities," reports Christoph Rübe, Team Lead Engineering at AuE Kassel.
